3 TIPS FOR CHOOSING YOUR CHILDREN’S WALLPAPER

Your child’s room is their safe space for them to play, be creative and dream. For young children, a bedroom needs to be imaginative and fun. For those entering teenagehood, a bedroom needs to be young but smart and inspire productivity.

Here are 3 tips for choosing children’s wallpaper:

The test of time:

If your children are still young, don’t be afraid of fun patterns with cats and spaceships to spark imagination. However, if your children are entering their tween or teen phases, it’s better to pick out patterns that are more mature but still bright and unique in colour.

Don’t be overpowering:

If you go for a fun, bright wallpaper with cartoons, don’t overdo it. Pick a feature wall for it, or balance it out with more neutral furniture.

Choose a colour palette, not a colour:

Don’t limit yourself to one colour or shade. Your child will enjoy a range of colours that go together. If the wallpaper is blue, choose a complimentary green or yellow bedspread.
