Description
What colours are used in this design and will they work with my furniture?
The palette runs entirely through sepia: deep umber trunks, mid-brown foliage and pale cream highlights fading into a warm tan background. Because it is tonal rather than multi-coloured, it sits easily behind wood furniture, leather and brass without competing. Under the Highveld’s strong daylight the browns will read a touch richer and more saturated than they appear on screen.
How large do the trees appear once this is on a wall?
The trunks run the full height of the scene and the canopies spread wide, so on an average wall only one or two repeats are needed to fill it. It reads as an oversized motif rather than a repeating pattern, which suits a feature wall where the trees can stretch from skirting to near the ceiling.
Which rooms does this forest scene suit?
The muted, tonal colouring works well in living rooms and hallways where a calm backdrop is wanted, and equally in a home office where a busier, brighter design might be distracting. It reads as restful rather than dramatic, so it doesn’t fight with existing colour schemes in the room.
Can this mural be made to fit my exact wall size?
Yes. This design has no set panel sizes to choose from – you provide the width and height of your wall and it’s printed to those measurements, including trickier spaces like stairwells or a wall with a sloped ceiling. Nothing is cut from pre-made stock, so the scene is scaled specifically for your space.
Will the trees look stretched if my wall isn’t the same shape as the image?
No. The scene is scaled and cropped to match your wall’s proportions rather than stretched to fit, so the trees and their canopies keep their natural shape. If your wall is a different ratio to the original artwork, some of the outer scene is trimmed rather than distorted.
