Description
What flowers are shown in the Veld Garden Fynbos design?
The pattern is built around large protea heads in dusty rose, set against dark green fynbos-type foliage with narrow pointed leaves. Smaller pale blue flower spikes and soft pink sprigs fill the gaps between the main blooms, giving the design a layered, garden-grown feel rather than a single repeated flower.
What colours are used and how will they work in my room?
The palette runs from dusty pink and deep bottle green to sage and pale blue on a cream ground. Greens and blues are generally the easiest colours to live with in rooms meant for rest, so this works well in a bedroom or living room where you want colour without raising the energy of the space too much.
Does the pattern form a grid or something more organic?
The stems arch and cross to form a tall, looping trellis, with each protea sitting inside its own diamond-shaped frame of foliage. It reads less like a strict grid and more like a climbing garden structure, which helps it feel natural rather than overly formal on a wall.
Will this pattern look too large for my wall?
Pattern scale only really makes sense against the wall it's going on. A motif this size can look like texture on a short or narrow wall simply because so little of the repeat is visible, but across a longer wall the full trellis and bloom shapes come through clearly as a proper motif.
Which wall in the room should I paper?
The best choice is usually the wall you see as you walk in, or the one your furniture is already arranged to face, rather than the wall behind you that goes unseen from the doorway. That way the design is doing its work every time the room is used, not hidden out of sight.
