I used the peel and stick wallpaper to cover some lasercut mdf boxes I had made. I really liked the paper texture (kozo?) and it was incredibly easy to work with and match patterns where I wrapped around the boxes. The order and delivery process was also good and quite fast (I received the paper before the boxes arrived from lasercutting people). I think I might need to tackle a wall to match my little boxes now :)

What colours are in this mural?

The mural works in charcoal black, soft grey and a warm parchment tone. Because the palette is tonal rather than bright, it reads as a graphic statement without competing with other colours in the room, and it pairs easily with black or timber furniture and neutral soft furnishings.

Will this mural look too dark on my wall?

The design is quite dark where the ink pools around the hair and shoulder, but the face itself is left pale and luminous, so the wall doesn't feel heavy overall. It works well as a single feature wall balanced by lighter paint on the others.

What size room does this portrait suit?

Because the face is painted at a large, confident scale, it reads clearly from across a room and doesn't need to be viewed up close to make sense. It suits a living room, study or hallway wall with enough distance to take in the whole composition.

Can this mural be fitted to an awkward wall shape?

Yes. There are no fixed panel sizes to work around since each mural is printed to the exact dimensions supplied, which makes it workable on stairwells, sloped ceilings and other irregular walls as well as a standard flat wall.

Will the proportions of the artwork look stretched or squashed on my wall?

No. The scene is scaled and cropped to fit the wall's proportions rather than stretched to force a fit, so the face and brushwork keep their original proportions. On a wall shaped very differently to the source image, some of the outer edges of the scene are trimmed instead.
