The palette leans darker and more sophisticated than typical tartans, with the slate blue ground keeping the pattern from reading as heritage or rustic. It suits studies with leather furniture, dining rooms that want a heritage accent wall, hallways with good natural light, and north-facing Joburg lounges where the deeper colours won’t flatten in cooler light.
