The design pairs a muted teal with a warm off-white, close to cream rather than pure white. Teal reads calm and slightly cool, so it sits well with natural light and tends to recede rather than advance, while the off-white keeps the wall feeling open. Together they avoid the starkness of a true navy and white stripe.
The bands are an even, medium width that stays legible from across a room without reading as a fine pinstripe. The repeat is regular and vertical, so a few stripes fill a standard wall cleanly rather than multiplying into a busy pattern close up.
