Dillon Warren is the Founder and Director of Wallpaper Online South Africa, the country’s top-rated wallpaper and wall mural e-commerce store, proudly manufactured in Johannesburg. He started the business in 2020 with one stubborn idea: that South Africans shouldn’t have to import overpriced wallpaper from overseas to get something they actually love on their walls. Six years later, Wallpaper Online has helped over 35,000 customers — homeowners, interior designers, hotels and restaurants — bring serious design to their spaces.
Building Wallpaper Online into one of SA’s most-loved design brands eventually opened the door to launching Wallpaper Online Canada in 2023, where the same locally-manufactured, design-led, customer-obsessed model now serves the Canadian market. Dillon is a partner in four interior and design-adjacent businesses across two continents and is currently mid-renovation on his own home in Bryanston — which means most of what he writes here comes from one of four places: researching wallpaper trends, manufacturing wallpaper, helping clients pick wallpaper, or living with it on his own walls.
