The design sits on a warm taupe-grey ground, with deep charcoal and bottle green foliage and warm cream highlights in the flowers and plumage. A small amount of near-black in the cockatoo and crane markings anchors the palette, which helps the softer greens and creams around it read cleaner rather than muddy.
It reads as a moody, mid-to-dark design rather than a true dark wallpaper, since the taupe background keeps some light bouncing around the room. On a feature wall it can soften the hard line where wall meets corner, which often makes a smaller room feel considered rather than cramped.
