The design combines a warm ochre-gold scrollwork with a softer powder-blue outline, set against an ivory cream background. Yes, the repeat is designed to align at the seams provided the drops are hung in the order they are unrolled. Numbering each drop and working across the wall from left to right keeps the paisley motifs continuous, so the joins between strips are not noticeable once it is up.
