The pattern combines teal, coral orange and a soft cream background, with small touches of mustard and charcoal in the fan centres. Teal and cream keep the wall feeling open and easy to sit with, while the coral stops it from going flat and gives the room a lift without turning it into the dominant colour statement.
It sits somewhere between the two. The repeat is graphic and the arcs are confident, but the fine linework and pale cream ground keep it from feeling heavy, so it reads as a statement pattern that still settles into a room rather than overwhelming it.
The fanned, symmetrical arcs are a classic Art Deco structure, built up from dozens of thin hand-drawn lines rather than solid blocks of colour. That line-based construction gives it a slightly textured, hand-finished look even though the overall shape is strictly geometric and repeating.
Highveld daylight tends to be bright and hard, which pushes printed colour towards fuller saturation rather than softening it. It is produced in numbered panels, either 60cm or 110cm wide, that are hung in sequence from one edge of the wall across to the other, butting together as they go. Working through them in order keeps the fan repeats lining up correctly across the full width of the wall.
