Oversized tropical leaves float across a soft dove grey ground in this refined botanical mural, rendered in cream, pale sage and charcoal line work with plenty of white space between each frond. Conquered reads as contemporary art first, jungle second — the restrained palette and generous spacing keep it sophisticated rather than literal. The cool greys and creams make it particularly suited to rooms with strong natural light, like north-facing bedrooms in Cape Town or Johannesburg offices with floor-to-ceiling windows where warmer murals can look washed out by midday.
