The design sits in soft white blossom, sage green foliage and a hazy blue-grey sky. These cooler, muted tones are among the easiest to live with in a room meant for rest, since green and grey settle a space rather than energising it, while the white blossom lifts the wall without adding visual weight.
Four white cranes with black wingtips and red-marked heads are shown mid-flight around the tree's branches. Their open wings and scattered positions give the scene a sense of movement, carrying the eye from the lower corners up through the blossom towards the trunk.
