The piece works mostly in charcoal grey linework over an off-white, slightly weathered ground, so it reads as a soft neutral rather than a colour statement. The drama here comes from the contrast between the dark drawing and the pale plaster-like background rather than from hue, so it keeps presence in a muted room and sits comfortably beside deeper furniture tones.
The mural is built around a row of wild rose stems, sketched in fine pencil-style lines with open blooms, buds and leaves running along the lower portion of the scene. The upper two-thirds stays quiet and textural, so the florals read as a border rather than an all-over pattern, giving the wall a calmer, more grounded feel than a dense floral repeat.
Behind the botanical line work sits a mottled, slightly cracked plaster-effect ground in pale grey and white, which gives the piece a weathered, hand-finished quality rather than a flat printed look.
